Ruby Rose and Phoebe Dahl have called off their engagement.
Yesterday, Rose made her first comments since the news was shared on Monday."[Phoebe] remains very dear to my hear. I will forever treasure our time together," she posted on Twitter.
"I'm a better person because of all we shared."
She added on Facebook: "They say, 'it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.' I'm lucky to have had the chance to love her."
Dahl responded: "You have brought me to my best and I will always love you. I can't wait to see what the future brings for us."
Earlier this week, Phoebe announced the split to US Weekly.
"While we still love each other and support each other in every way, it is our mutual decision to part ways," Phoebe said. "Our break is not the result of any media speculation, and we want nothing but the best for each other."
The pair became engaged in 2014 after only three months of dating.
Ruby, 29, rose to international fame after landing a part on prison comedy-drama, Orange Is The New Black. She's had a whirlwind year touring as a DJ, and is rumoured for major film roles.
Phoebe, 27, is the granddaughter of famed author, Roald Dahl, and is the woman behind Faircloth & Supply clothing label.
